COVID 19 UPDATE: We have reopened. I am following many of the covid practices put in place during the pandemic. See more about our Covid Safe Practices here.
Your hosts, Judith and George Newby, invite you to explore New Mexico from the Sandhill Crane Bed and Breakfast. The Sandhill Crane, a recipient of the 2018 "Best in City" and the 2019 Best of Rio Rancho awards presented by "Albuquerque the Magazine," is a true adobe hacienda with great mountain views in the quaint village of Corrales, 30 minutes from downtown Albuquerque and 45 minutes from Santa Fe.
Situated on two acres on the edge of the bosque, the home is shaded by giant cottonwoods and pines. There are 2 guest rooms in this partially handicapped accessible home. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the great room that features a traditional kiva fireplace and floor to ceiling windows that offer fabulous mountain views. The inn's brick floors and timbered ceilings are a highlight of Southwestern architecture. Each room features original art by local artists. We offer free Wi-Fi for our guests who can't bear to be without their email or social network connections!
Travelling with a dog? We accept well behaved canine family members in our Bosque Suite! See our Inn Policies page for more information. Unfortunately, our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Bart and Zoey, are not available for playdates!
Keep up with events and what's cooking at the inn by checking out our blogpage. It is our way of sharing our adventures with all of you who we meet as guests and now call friends.
